Lesson 3

This week we learned about layer control and our homework assignment was to make a stop motion DVD menu. We needed to use looping footage, image sequences, blending modes, layer styles, and effects.

Lets think about target markets and change this tagline to fit the appropriate market.

I made this as a joke for the assignment not feeling too inspired about this assignment
My other idea was yes some people claim to like our sausage but then some people claim to have been abducted by aliens.

Homework 2

Homework assignment was to start animating in After Effects. We had to have 3 examples of animation. We were required to use the graph editor, motion sketch, and hold keyframes.

Interactive Motion Graphics

Intro class to flash. Mid term project is an interactive children's story. I am going to do the Itsy Bitsy Spider. As far as I can tell interactive just means you have a play button and you can mute sound.

This class is an intro to After Effects. Not really sure what the difference between this class and the class I already took in After effects is going to be (concepts in motion design). First homework assignment to use transform options very simple.

Summer Schedule 2012??????

Picked up my Summer schedule today. Apparently the school scheduled alot of classes during times when the people scheduled to teach the classes are not available. I am going to have to change my schedule not really sure what I am going to end up with. I am registered for a class this evening but it was one of the classes that was changed and now a computer lab isnt available at the time of the class. Really? A web design class without computers? WTF? How much did I pay for this???

Anyways last year was so stressful trying to stay in school with all the horrible stuff going on in my life. I had begun to really hate going to school. Today when I picked up my schedule was the first time in a long time I felt good about being in school. First time in a long time I have wanted to be there. I am glad that I have made so many changes to my life over the summer break and I am ready to be back in school!!!!

The Meaning of the Yellow Rose:  They convey  joy, gladness and delight.  Another truly wonderful meaning of a yellow rose is that it indicates a determination to start over new and to begin fresh. Yellow roses also symbolize freedom.
