Nothing is more dangerous than an idea, when it's the only one we have.

This Infographic illustration project consists of two separate illustration projects.

For one project, you take the role of art director – working with a classmate who you've "hired" as an illustrator for the project.

For the other project, you become the illustrator – working with a classmate who has "hired" you to be the illustrator on the project.

Here is an example of an infographic I like.

I do not like this assignment at all. LOL! For two reasons one I have to work with someone else and two it just does not seem as creative as I would like. I am happy with my partner. I gave him a list of ideas I was willing to do and he is ok with that. So that makes working with someone better still do not like it!!! My suggestions were mostly funny but of course he had to give me a serious one!!!!

So here is my partner as my art director:

For this illustration you will have two days to provide a general layout and different variations of the illustration in thumbnails. After reviewing the thumbnails and determining the layout you will proceed to give a full-scale copy of what our client needs. Our client is requesting a eight and a half inch by eight and a half inch bar chart to represent the statistics of annual related deaths from cigarettes. Content will be supplied below, content is to be accurately represented in a corporate style with a neat and clean appearance. The intended audience for this illustration will be members of a coalition against smoking. This illustration will be used as part of a presentation informing the members of the coalition the latest figures on cigarette related deaths in the United States.

Content for chart:

Cigarette Smoking related deaths total nearly 443,000 a year

Lung cancer: 128,900 deaths

Other cancers: 35,300 deaths

Ischemic Heart Disease: 126,000 deaths

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease: 92,900 deaths

Stroke: 15,900 deaths

Other diagnoses: 443,000 deaths

Any input would be much appreciated, I know I left out budget not quite sure how to come to a clear figure any help would be appreciated thanks you.
