Introduction to Programming

This course will combine research and collaboration, hands-on exercises, and an individual course project suitable for inclusion in a portfolio. The course will explore PHP—a popular open-source scripting language that integrates common Web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS within one development environment—and the functions and applications that can be built using that particular language.
