Final project is to create a database website


Design Brief

Summary

You’ll find everything you need to start researching and planning an extraordinary wine tasting adventure with this database which contains listings for Vineyards and Wineries in Texas.

Target Audiences

The typical user of this site is between the ages of 30 to 45 with a household income of $75,000 to $200,000. The users live in Texas or are planning a visit to Texas. The target audience is looking for information on setting up and planning an itinerary for visiting wineries in Texas. Users want to learn to about wine, buy unique wines, and /or support local businesses .

Web Site Goals

The goal of this website is to provide website users a database in which they can easily find the perfect vineyard or wineries to visit in Texas. Users who visit the site, will feel immediately feel welcomed into the world of Texas wineries, and then users will find this site offers them the digital tools to find wineries in Texas.

The site will have an organized and elegant look and feel.

Page descriptions

The website will have an easy to navigate left-side navigation and a liquid design to nicely fill up the users monitor. The layout of the home page will immediately show visitors that this site will be useful to them in planning a trip for visiting vineyards and wineries in Texas. The main feature will be the map of Texas wineries. Other features that will be included on the website a section that shows "featured wineries.” And a weather guide showing the local weather of the different regions of the wineries.
