Digital Photog. for Design

One of the classes I took before I started this blog

Digital Photog. for Design Projects for this class include photographing lines in nature, depth of field study, and pictures showing movement. Topics covered included aperture, macro, the rule of thirds, shutter speed, and ISO. We did a self portrait at the beginning of class and one at the end.

Here is the Pinterest board I made for inspiration for this class.

We also had to write a paper about a photographer. I wrote about John Manno. I emailed him with questions and he responded to my email. After we wrote the paper we had to take a photo inspired by the photographer we had written about. My photo was inspired by a jar of fluff. Very messy!

Our final project was to use bridge to make a pdf portfolio of the images we had taken in class. I think most people used power point to make the pdfs. One important thing I learned in this class is if you open a picture and click on File-Properties you can find all the image property information. For example if we were studying the f number and I need that information for the picture I was turning in I did not have to write this info down each time I took a picture. I knew I could find it later in properties.
