Fundamentals of Audio

Fundamentals of Audio We learned how to use pro tools, learned about sound waves, and learned about microphones. Projects included using a field recorder to make our own sound effects, design a home recording studio, and create an audio scene with at least 15 sounds that lasted about 2 minutes. For the final project we could do one of three projects.
1. MUSIC MIX- record or sequence 2-4 minutes of original music. Do not use any prefab instrumentals or loops. You can record and loop your own music. If you use an external program like Fruity Loops or Reason you still need to mix the song within Pro Tools.
2. PODCAST- create an original 2-4 minute broadcast mix. This can be anything from a fake talk show to a full on radio drama with voice actors.
3. SOUND FOR PICTURES-This requires taking a piece of film or animation no longer than 2 minutes and recreate as much of the audio as possible. Mute the original audio track and create your own. Include these three elements sound effects, dialogue, and music.

I did #3 a scene from Will and Grace but I cant find my scene anymore. Here is the original scene and the Script

An example of how some of the audio scenes turned out except we did not have images just the audio. This was not from the class just an example of what I thought was great audio.
