Some of the projects:
Typographically enhance the meaning of a word. Sometimes an unexpected effect can be achieved when the typographic solution contradicts the meaning of the word, setting “big” with small type, for example. You may repeat, omit, slice, or overlap words or letters, keeping the letter form as recognizable as possible. Do not use drop shadows or horizontal/vertical scaling (distortion). Use only the typeface Futura Bold.

We wrote a report on a classic typeface: Garamond, Baskerville, Bodoni, Helvetica, Futura, Gill Sans
Take a letter from a chosen typefaces and arrange it in a square demonstrate 3 principles of design.



Create 4 different versions of a movie monologue, We could change typefaces, sizes, weights, etc.





We kept a journal each week we had to have 10 examples of type we found that we liked or inspired us.





Final project was to make our own font. For some inspiration search letter on shutterstock.

This is exactly what our prof had us do for our final project.
